Daily Letter Grid is provided as a free, browser-based brain training game for personal educational and entertainment purposes.

Daily Letter Grid grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to:

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Automated scraping

  Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract puzzle data or game information

• Reverse engineer

  Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the game mechanics or puzzle generation algorithm

• Disrupt the service

  Intentionally interfere with website functionality, attempt denial-of-service attacks, or harm other users

• Illegal activity

  Use the Service for illegal purposes or violate any applicable laws

• Exploit vulnerabilities

  Exploit security vulnerabilities or bugs (please report these to us instead)

4. Game Data & Data Loss

You are responsible for preserving your game data. We recommend not clearing browser cache if you want to keep your streak and scores. Browser data is YOUR data on YOUR device — we have no backup or server-side copy.

5. Streaks & Consistency

Your daily streak is the number of consecutive days you've played. Various conditions may affect your streak:

• •A new puzzle appears at midnight Eastern Standard Time (America/New_York) each day. Playing that puzzle maintains your streak.
• •Streaks are tracked locally — if you clear browser data or play on a different device, your streak resets.
• •If you don't interact with the daily grid within its active 24-hour Eastern calendar zone, your streak resets to zero.
• •There is no way to recover a lost or reset streak — it is intentional game design to encourage daily habit-building.

6. Leaderboard & Fair Play

The Daily Letter Grid leaderboard displays top scores and streaks. By playing and appearing on the leaderboard, you agree to:

• ✓Play fairly without exploiting game mechanics or bugs
• ✓Not use tools or bots to artificially inflate scores
• ✓Accept your score may be visible to other players
• ✓Abide by the spirit of the game: brain training and fun, not exploitation

We reserve the right to remove scores or ban players who violate these terms. Fair play is essential to the community.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Daily Letter Grid, including all game code, design, word lists, and branding, is the intellectual property of Daily Letter Grid (unless otherwise credited).

• •You may not copy, modify, or distribute the game without permission
• •You may not claim the game or its content as your own
• •Word lists are compiled from public sources but organized and used with permission
• •Game algorithm and puzzle generation are proprietary

8. Service Availability

Daily Letter Grid aims to be available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
