How to Play

Clear, step-by-step instructions for new players, plus the scoring and progress rules used by the current daily puzzle.

Quick Start

1. Drag or trace your finger across adjacent letters on the 7x7 matrix grid to build a word.

2. Paths can form by connecting tiles horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

3. Once a completed valid path matches a hidden dictionary word, the interface automatically saves and submits the entry.

The Level & Progression Engine

Every single daily grid contains a total puzzle index of **12 specific target words**. The system maps progress sequentially across 5 discrete tiers:

Level 1 (3-Letter Words): Find 3 words. Score: 100 points each.
Level 2 (4-Letter Words): Find 3 words. Score: 200 points each.
Level 3 (5-Letter Words): Find 2 words. Score: 400 points each.
Level 4 (6-Letter Words): Find 2 words. Score: 600 points each.
Level 5 (7-Letter Words): Find 2 words. Score: 1,000 points each.

Advanced Banking Mechanics

Our layout engine supports future-word tracking. If you discover a word belonging to a tier ahead of your current level, it is categorized inside the Word Bank (Purple Chips). Banked elements yield 0 points initially.

Once your current level requirements are fully cleared, you advance. The matching banked rows switch automatically to Activated Grid Words (Green Chips), moving points straight into your total dashboard registry. If all requirements for an upcoming level are already sitting in your bank, the system triggers a skip action to advance you instantly.

Midnight Calendar Resets

The grid challenges reset and update fully at precisely **12:00 AM Midnight Eastern Time (America/New_York)**. Cache-cleans or storage sweeps will impact your local leaderboard snapshots and streaks.
